Throughout my 10+ years of experience as a Cloud &  Systems Engineer & Administrator for Windows, Linux, and serverless systems, I routinely act as the last line of defense, solving problems that others can’t.

As a seasoned Cloud & Systems Engineer with a deep understanding of the core IT fundamentals and the ability to predict problems months ahead of time, I develop resilient systems, I subdue chaos during a crisis, and I teach teams how to identify true security risks and system bottlenecks.

My Experience

Through the years I have gained over 10 years of experience in administering Windows and Linux systems. I have managed all versions of Windows Server since Server 2008 up through today and and I have administered all flavors of Linux from CentOS/RedHat to Ubuntu/Debian and even OpenSUSE.

  • Created large IT systems that support between 5,000 and 20,000 users throughout the US and the World.
  • Collaboratively designed and built systems that provide services to millions of users throughout the global.
  • Rescued large crashed databases during urgent time sensitive outages.
  • Prevented long term outages by tackling them at 1:30 am and leading teams to repair the damage all night.

I have worked for international software companies and small hometown computer shops. I have handled almost every type of IT problem that could occur, this includes both physically and virtually.

At Open-Xchange I was 1 of 6 System Administrators who managed over 150 servers that provided services to millions of users throughout the world. At PHM Schools I designed and administered systems and websites that served over 10,000 students and over 700 employees on a regular basis.
